THEIA 1

Theia is an immersive, multi-user, virtual reality bio-laboratory.

Literally enter virtual tissues or tumours and visualize and explore their molecular identity - intuitively.

Complex computational analyses and results are explored in moments. The immersion offered by VR make the exploration of such complex datasets much easier, facilitating:

  • Basic research

  • Pathological examination

  • Public engagement and understanding

We recreate real tumors in VR, cell by cell. The position, type, shape and genetic data of each cell is preserved. This can be explored in a simple and intuitive way by doctors, researchers and even students to gain new insights into cancer and to create bespoke preventive treatment plans for patients.

Now, we want to bring it to the global cancer research community.
